This is the top speed wing for 2013! *The Swing Spitfire is a low cell count speed wing developed to achieve a wide glide range. The primary objectives of the design profile are to allow for good glide and low launch speed behavior of a speed flying wing, yet still retain diving characteristics of a speed riding wing. The Swing Spitfire became available in December 2009 in four sizes: 15, 13, 11 and 9. Additional sizes of 8 and 18 were recently added to the range. Other features of the Swing Spitfire include long braking range, efficient back riser control, lightweight materials, high stability in turbulence, and a 3 riser system. Our Price: $1850 (Be sure to ask about our current $250 discount offer) troy hartman http://www.speedflycalifornia.com/

Morning Speed Wing Flight From Sherwin Ridge With The Crew!!! Five Of Us Fly Our Fastest Wings!!

April 22, 2013

Saturday dawned clear, and motivation was high. The monkeys were in town, and we wanted some fun! Lew, Ryan, Eric, Preston, and I; we all needed a little speed wing fix for the day, and the Sherwins were looking perfect.

We left one car close to the LZ, at Preston's house. We then shuttled up to the Twin Lakes trailhead, and started out on foot from there. A fun, easy hike up the backside, and we were on top. Preston launched first- I think this will be the new trend! His psyche for his new sport is at 110%! We all took off one at a time from the cornice launch, as it was slick ice to a drop off you couldn't see down! Luckily there was plenty of headwind, and we were off!

Here are a few pics from the day. Good job Boys!

Another great adventure!!!

Other jumpers called the rescue and jumped after, and as they flew over they saw him lying on the ground with a partially inflated canopy, next to him. As rescuers got to him, they stated he died on impact. Max was a very skilled jumper and he never pushed it

Skydiving: Friday Freakout: Plane Nosedives, Tosses Skydivers On Exit

Posted: 31 May 2013 06:00 AM PDT

So you climb out of a small Cessna, hanging from the wing and strut as you set up in the door. You’re just about to give the count… “ready, set….” and then the plane goes into a nosedive. WTF?! A little sketchy, but nothing quite beats this other terrifying plane stall.
