| Wingsuit Video: Wingsuit: Buscadores de sensaciones Posted: 08 Sep 2015 10:05 PM PDT Wingsuit: Buscadores de sensaciones El concepto de SS (Sensation seeking) o buscadores de sensaciones fue desarrollado por Zuckerman (1979), se considera un rasgo de personalidad como lo pueden ser la extroversión, el neuroticismo, etc… Se define como una necesidad de estar en situaciones estimulantes (como peligrosas o de riesgo), que sean variadas y complejas (no monótonas). Literalmente significaría una búsqueda activa de estimulación externa que maximice las sensaciones, por placer. La valoración del riesgo es un rasgo diferencial entre los buscadores de sensaciones y aquellos que no lo son (que evalúan como mayor la probabilidad de consecuencias negativas). Además el buscador de sensaciones se decantará por sensaciones inusuales. Por lo general los hombres suelen tener mayores puntuaciones en esta escala. Además correlaciona negativamente con la edad, es decir, esta dimensión suele disminuir con la edad (teniendo un mayor pico en la adolescencia y la juventud). Son personas que sienten atracción hacia lo desconocido y hacia las emociones fuertes. Para estos sujetos el riesgo implica una recompensa, una sensación placentera.
